TovábbI have studied from 1992-1998 at the Szent-Gyorgyi Albert Medical University, General Medical Faculty. I graduated as a GP in 1998. I received my second degree as healthcare economist and manager from József Attila University’s (later University of Szeged) Faculty of Economy in 2001. I wrote my thesis in hospital management and inpatient care.
I passed my specialisation exam in ear, nose, throat in 2002 and in 2008 in allergology and immunology. I received PhD academic degree in 2010.
Between 1998 and 2000 I worked at the Department of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology in Orosháza Town Hospital, since 2001 I am a colleague of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology and Head- Neck Surgery Department of University of Szeged and Szent-Györgyi Albert Medical Science Centre, since 2011 as an Associate Professor. I am the head of the rhinology workgroup. I am carrying out the presidential tasks of Rhinology Section of the Hungarian Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head & Neck Surgery since 2013.
My main interests: respiratory allergy, minimally invasive endoscopic surgery of the nose and sinuses, endoscopic surgery base of the skull. Nasal and sinus cancer treatment. Study and surgical therapy of breathing disorders while sleeping in children and adults (sleep apnoea, snoring). Apart from providing medical care, I am also doing research and educational activities in the above areas. I am giving lectures and seminars in Hungarian and English to medical students and specialist trainees.
